Interactive Session A very lively interactive session took place at 'Boi-Chitra' (Second floor of College Street Coffee House building) on the evening of 2 May, 2009, Saturday. We called it 'Interaction with the Short Story' Everyone present at the meeting participated in the discussion, expressing their opinions concerning the shape and contents of the issue on Short Story that Pegasus is planning. In spite of the heat and psephomania-induced traffic jams quite a few of our friends came to the meeting. 'Interaction with the Short Story' : A Round Table Consultation on the short story as a genre : Programme at Boi-Chitra (Second Floor, College Street Coffee House Building) on 2 May, Saturday, 5 pm. All are welcome. The next issue of Pegasus will also be released at the meeting. Pegasus, May 2008 was released by Principal Shyamalendu Mazumdar at the Seminar on 15 May, 2008 Thursday at the Abanindra Sabhagriha (Nandan Complex) at 5.30 pm. Prof. Swaty Mitra of Krishnanagar Govt. College spoke on 'Female Imagination: British Women Novelists' and Dr. Sucheta Mukherjee of Ranigunge College spoke on 'Duality: Serious and the Comic in Huckleberry Finn' It was a very enjoyable and instructive evening. Loreto College A Fine Job Well Done on March 14, 2009 More Seminar on 'Indian Writing in English', held on 14 February, 2008 Thursday at Rishi Bankim College for Women, Naihati. Resource Persons: Reena Sinha, Salil Biswas, and Mitali Gangopadhya spoke respectively on Toru Dutta, Nissim Ezekiel and Ruskin Bond.
