Dr. Tapati Gupta, Professor, English Department , Calcutta University (Head of Department from 2004-06) Supervises Ph. D. research in: Early modern drama, Romantic and Victorian British poetry, 19th century Bengali theatre and literature. Experience: Has served in the West Bengal Educational Service since 1972 and has taught in various government Colleges, primarily in Presidency College.
