Research Interests: Salil's fields of interest include Renaissance Literature, particularly Thomas More and his works. A translator. he is also interested in Translation Theories and modes.

• Borhes-er Poneroti Galpo -- A collection of fifteen stories by Jorge Luis Borges translated into Bengali. This is the 3rd enlarged edition of the book originally published in January, 1997. It was named Borheser Dashti Galpo when it was first published and contained ten stories.
